A New Chapter in Educational Success

Noon Academy is an educational learning platform designed for foundation-year students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The platform brings together some of the Kingdom’s best and most well-known teachers, and has attracted more than 12 million registered students—making it the largest social learning platform in Saudi Arabia.

What truly sets Noon Academy apart is its ability to enable students to study collaboratively rather than alone, at times that suit them. Students can also enjoy a live, interactive learning experience with their peers, benefit from a comprehensive library of competitions and mock exams, and view their results instantly.

Recently, Noon Academy partnered with Snapchat—the platform with the largest number of active users in the region—to launch an advertising campaign. The primary objective was to increase app installs at the lowest possible cost per install, while targeting a specific age group of teenage students, who predominantly use Snapchat. The campaign also aimed to reach students in general, with a particular focus on aptitude test candidates and foundation-year students.

Snapchat’s Multi-Format Ad Solutions

In this advertising campaign, Noon Academy targeted students in Saudi Arabia aged between 16 and 18, using Story Ads as well as single-image or single-video ads.

The team found that single-image or single-video ads were the most effective in achieving performance goals, contributing significantly to the campaign’s success. This resulted in a noticeable increase in app installs, especially during peak seasons such as exam periods and aptitude test seasons.

In terms of creative practices, Noon Academy experimented with creating standard ads in different formats to test performance. Since multiple ad products were used in the campaign, results varied depending on ad placement and format.

Snapchat’s media solutions and tools enabled Noon Academy to achieve:

  • 221% increase in paid impressions

  • 216% increase in swipe-ups

  • 178% increase in app installs—all within just 30 days. 

  • Low costs: $1.50 CPM and under $3 CPI

  • Lower cost per install compared to other platforms

Thanks to this campaign, Noon Academy also gained deeper insights into different targeting strategies and how to apply best creative practices—such as using multiple ads within a single ad set or running a single campaign for the same objective.
