The Story

RBX Active sells apparel, footwear, and accessories for consumers looking to “LIVE LIFE ACTIVE.” Built on the idea that being healthy and active should not be a luxury, but rather a basic need, RBX Active seeks to bring fashionable fitness apparel and products to everyone at affordable prices. Through their Shopify-powered online store, RBX brings their athleisure directly to consumers. Looking for a way to reach a younger audience from their traditionally mom-centric and 40+ core demo, Team RBX discovered the Snapchat Ads app from within the Shopify App Store and decided to give it a try.


The Solution: Simple Campaign Creation via Shopify

Thanks to the seamless and straightforward campaign setup flow within the Snapchat Ads app in Shopify, Team RBX was able to quickly launch their campaign with no prior Snapchat advertising experience. The ability to deploy the Snap Pixel, sync their product catalog for quick ad creation, and launch campaigns optimized towards purchase in minutes without having to leave their Shopify ecosystem was a game changer for RBX, and they’ve continued ever since. The team first tried selling their bike shorts and bras on Snapchat - two products which previously struggled to take off on competitive platforms with older core demos -  and found huge success on Snapchat, whose audience reach includes over 75% of US 13-34 year olds. 1 Additionally, the team discovered an untapped audience for their men’s sneakers on Snapchat - something they hadn’t been able to achieve on other platforms.  

Using the Snap Pixel to optimize towards a pixel purchase conversion event with Goal-Based Bidding (an option which enables advertisers to optimize towards a specific action such as viewing a page, adding to cart, or completing a purchase), along with Story Ads featuring individual RBX products pulled directly from their Shopify product feed, has proven to be the winning combination to help RBX Active achieve their goals.
