How to use Snapchat Ads for Business

Here’s how you can get started with Snapchat Ads for Business
In order to start advertising with Snapchat, you'll first need a personal Snapchat account. You can set up an account online or right from your phone using these directions:
To set up your Snapchat account online:
2. Next to 'New to Snapchat?' click 'Sign up'
3. Enter your name and a username
4. Make a secure password that will be easy to remember
5. Enter in a valid email address
6. Enter your birthday
7. Verify your account to secure it by downloading Snapchat on your phone.
To set up your Snapchat account on your mobile device:
1. Open the Snapchat app or download the Snapchat app for iOS or Android
2. Tap ‘Sign Up’ to create a new account
3. Enter your name and tap ‘Sign Up & Accept’ 
4. Enter your date of birth
5. Create a username
6. Make a secure password that will be easy to remember
7. Enter your phone number and verify it
Please note: This step is optional, but if you get locked out of your account for any reason we'll be able to send you a password reset link over SMS. You can also tap ‘sign up with email instead’ to sign up with your email.
Voila! You are officially a Snapchatter. Now that you have a personal account set up, you can use your username and password to log into Ads Manager and create a business account. 
To set up your Snapchat business account:
1. Log in to Ads Manager with your Snapchat credentials
2. Input your business name and click 'Next'
3. Select the country you'd like to do business in, along with the currency, and click 'Next'
Once your business account has been created, you will be prompted to create your first Snapchat Ad within Ads Manager.
Here’s everything you need to know about Snapchat’s Ads Manager
Ads Manager is Snapchat’s self-serve tool that provides advertisers with the ability to create, buy, and scale ads on Snapchat. It allows you to find your target audience, upload creatives, manage and optimize campaign performance as well as easily test different creatives, audiences, and bids at any time to ensure you are spending efficiently and effectively.
  • Create Ads’ is where you can launch Campaigns to drive your business goals. More on this in a bit!
  • Snap Publisher’ is a tool that allows you to easily create Snap Ad videos, or enhance an existing one. With it, you’ll be able to customize your Snap Ads with content relevant to your audience, and generate multiple variations to learn which performs best.
  • The 'Help Center' is where you can find answers to common questions, guides, and tutorials.
  • In ‘Manage Ads’ you can view and manage existing campaigns. You can also measure performance and results for all of your Ad Accounts.
  • The ‘Snap Pixel’ view is where you can set up your Snap Pixel, a piece of JavaScript code that helps measure the cross-device impact of campaigns. With it you will be able to see how many Snapchatters take action on your website(s) after seeing your Ad.
  • The 'Creative Library' is where you’ll be able to design and manage creatives, from Snap Ads to Lenses.                                              
  • The ‘Audiences' view is where you can create new audiences from customer lists or by segment. You can also view and edit previous audiences as well as view audience insights.
  • In the 'Catalogs' view you can upload your product catalog, along with update and manage your product inventory.
Business Settings
  • 'Business Details' is the administration view where you can manage all of the business settings including payments, ad accounts, and members for your organization. It's also where you can manage and create billing centers.
  • 'Ad Accounts' is the administration view where you can manage all of the ad accounts you own or have been granted access to. Depending on your role, you'll be able to manage account and membership settings, and create new ad accounts. 
  • The ‘Members’ view is where you can invite new members and manage existing ones, depending on your role. You can also update member information, assign and remove ad accounts, change Member roles, and remove Members. Learn more about specific roles and permissions.
  • The ‘Billing & Payments’ view is where the funding sources for your business can be viewed, managed, and added.
Here’s how you can create your Snapchat Ads within Ads Manager
When creating a campaign in Ads Manager, you have the option to choose between two workflows: Instant Create or Advanced Create.
