MANSCAPED® embraces Snapchat Ads as a way to reach younger customers and increase revenue
in revenue from Snapchat Ads year over year.¹
Leading men’s grooming company MANSCAPED® was founded to help men become the best versions of themselves. Its premium product collection — which includes everything from beard, body, and haircare — is “designed to introduce and elevate a new self-care routine for men.” The company aims to destigmatize conversations around men's below-the-waist grooming, a taboo topic that many brands avoid.
MANSCAPED started with one flagship product, an electric trimmer appropriately named "The Lawn Mower®."
Since then, this grooming juggernaut has become a bathroom staple in homes around the world, with big-name celebrity brand partners and more than 9 million customers.
Yet, despite consistent growth since 2016, customer acquisition remains a top priority.
The social team at MANSCAPED realized that Snapchat has a tremendous influence on Gen Z and Millennials. So they decided to showcase their expanding line of products through a series of User Generated Content (UGC) video ads. This approach effectively amplified the brand and messaging of MANSCAPED, leading to a noteworthy rise in revenue.
But the team didn't stop there. As results poured in, they adopted a test-and-learn mindset, brainstorming new approaches and creative strategies to optimize the conversion rate.
After running a significant number of UGC campaigns, MANSCAPED has seen a 162% increase in revenue from Snapchat Ads in the US year over year.² Expanding its marketing efforts even further, the company launched Snapchat campaigns in all international markets. The impact of that expansion is yet to be fully realized. Still, initial results have the team excited about what comes next.
By harnessing Snapchat's unique capabilities, MANSCAPED continues to demonstrate its ability to be a leader in effective, modern digital marketing.
"The Snapchat team has great dev resources for implementing [the Conversions API].”
“Not only has this helped us feel confident in reporting, but it has also tremendously helped enhance our optimization signals and led to better overall performance."
