As a professional at-home teeth-whitening brand, PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ aims to increase brand awareness while lowering advertising costs and connecting with customers on a personal level. Seeing an opportunity to engage with Snapchat’s user base, PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ leans on user-generated content (UGC) and video developed by content creators. PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ is also able to reach their intended audience and increase conversions using multiple ad formats and advanced targeting on Snapchat.

The Solution

PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ initially used Snapchat to reach audiences by working with over 700 influencers and verified creators through Public Profiles and Creator Marketplace. Building on this success, PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ decided to expand their marketing mix with a multi-format approach to help grow reach, impact awareness, and drive online sales.

With Snapchat Video Ads, PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ engages Snapchatters via UGC-styled content for its casual, natural feel. Likewise, they use Story Ads to connect with Snapchatters in a genuine way, helping them achieve higher conversions, increase impressions, and receive high-intent traffic to their site.

PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ also relies on advanced targeting and retargeting strategies to enhance their ad personalization. For broader campaigns aiming to build awareness and reach, they use Lookalikes and Pre-defined Audiences in their ad sets. For lower-funnel campaigns focused on conversions, PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ employs Snapchat’s Pixel Custom Audiences to help retarget website visitors.

The Result

Through comprehensive Snapchat Ad campaigns, PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ has boosted awareness of their brand and products while driving online purchases, resulting in a 2.34x increase in return on ad spend (ROAS).

PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ continues to optimize their ad creative with the use of Snapchat’s Split Testing and a/b testing. Their findings indicate that native, UGC-styled Snapchat Ads have helped PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ reach the right audiences and achieve full-funnel success for their marketing efforts.

When compared to other platforms, PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ finds that Snapchat has more affordable costs per impressions and receives significantly more impressions from Snapchat’s scroll and Edit Placement functions. Overall, Snapchat’s consistency and scalability continue to help PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ build their audience and deliver better brand exposure at an affordable cost.

With the use of custom and lookalike audiences, PurelyWHITE DELUXE™ has expanded their reach and to keep their CPMs low on Snap. They plan on implementing more retargeting into their campaign strategy in the future and are excited to see their continued growth on Snap!
