LOOKFANTASTIC Engaged its Target Audience

As beauty retailers vie for attention in a saturated market, attracting new customers can prove challenging. Competing brands struggle to be heard as overwhelmed consumers grapple with crowded social media feeds. Familiar with the challenges, LOOKFANTASTIC turned to Snapchat to reach and engage females aged 18 and over in the UK.


Using a Multi-Product Approach

With an aim to acquire new customers and app users, the online beauty retailer opted for a multi-product campaign Leveraging Snap Ads and Tiled Story Ads. LOOKFANTASITC was able to more effectively attribute its campaign by leveraging Snapchat's Advanced Conversions framework. This, in addition to leveraging App-Install GBB, increased the campaign’s efficacy and ensured greater overall success. Advised by Snapchat to create motion assets from static ads to create an A/B test, LOOKFANTASTIC leveraged Snapchat’s Creative Studio service to do so, and utilized Tiled Story Ads to drive multi-format frequency and drive incremental reach.

Exceeding Campaign Targets

LOOKFANTASTIC’s campaign on Snapchat was successful, with the brand’s multi-format approach unlocking incremental reach and driving overall performance. The brand celebrated a CPI which exceeded its target by 70%, and saw a 25% install rate from clicks and a ROAS 1.9x higher than benchmark.


By leveraging Snapchats advanced privacy safe frameworks for attribution and optimisation, Lookfantastic was able to drive superior performance and user acquisition on Snapchat. Snapchat’s planning pillars and creative studio also ensured the brand’s strong performance.
