In fact, about 3 out of 4 users on Snapchat perceive the time they spent on the platform to be meaningful 1, the highest score found across all messaging platforms. And of those users who find meaning on social platforms, they are: 79% more open to seeing ads; 70% more engagement with relevant ads; 69% more likely to take action on relevant ads. 1

We’re introducing a new way for brands to own the moment and drive better outcomes with Total Snap Takeovers.

Total Snap Takeovers allow advertisers to show up as the first ad spot in each tab for wide reach, high impressions, and increased brand lift. With nearly 2 trillion Snaps created in 2025, 2 self-expression on Snapchat is active, daily, habitual behavior. And given that US Snapchatters open the app over 30 times per day 3 and 97% of Snapchatters visit multiple tabs in a single session 4, this product ensures brands can be the first to influence Snapchatters when it matters most.

In fact, brand exposure through a breadth of engagements outperforms single format campaigns. For example, unaided ad recall was 30 percentage points higher after exposure to Sponsored Snaps, AR, and video compared to video only, while holding frequency constant. 1

This builds on what already makes Snapchat uniquely powerful. Campaigns on Snapchat are proven to generate more memorable impressions and stronger unaided and aided ad recall versus other platforms. 1 In addition, formats like Sponsored Snaps - ads in the Chat feed - are proven to drive:

  • 2.3x more lift in Unaided Brand Awareness, 1.4x more lift in Ad Awareness, and 1.8x more lift in Purchase Intent than other social platforms. 5

  • Increased click-through rates and click-through purchases, with CTR growing 7% in Q4 and click-through purchases growing 17% from Q3 to Q4. 6

For Driving Commerce: Turning Attention into Action

Attention is only as powerful as the action it inspires. From acquiring new customers, to driving meaningful sales lift, brands of all sizes are finding success with Snapchat’s commerce and direct response (DR) innovations. We’ve been working to optimize our direct response product offerings with features like Smart Campaign Solutions, which help us deliver the right ad to the right person at the right time, and we’re building on this with updated, shoppable ad formats. In fact, one of our measurement partners, Triple Whale, found in their 2025 ecommerce benchmark report that Snapchat drove the highest return on ad spend (ROAS) across platforms 7.

Currently in beta, our new Offers capability integrates promotions directly into Snap Ads. Brands will be able to seamlessly include deals right within an ad, shortening the path from engagement to transaction for retailers and brands.

To enable brands to deliver even more personalized product recommendations to Snapchatters, we’re continuing to evolve our Dynamic Product Ads (DPA) with new formats like Multi-Segment DPA. We’re also currently testing Vertical Carousel Ads and Product-Level Video Ads. 

DPA is already proving to deliver impactful results for commerce brands. WOLFpak, a North America retail fashion and apparel brand, leveraged Dynamic Product Ads to drive lower-funnel performance, delivering 90% higher return on ad spend compared to non-DPA campaigns 8
