3 Steps to Connect Shopify and Snapchat
Follow these 3 steps to start driving Snapchat Ads to your Shopify store.
Step 1: Create Your Snapchat Business Account
Create a Snapchat Business Account, if you don’t have one yet.
Step 2: Install the Snapchat Ads App
Install the Snapchat Ads App to integrate your Snapchat Business Account with your Shopify store.
Step 3: Create or Connect Your Pixel
During app setup, check the box to create or connect your Snap Pixel (it’s that easy). The Pixel enables you to track results, create custom audiences, and get better results for your Shopify store.
Once you complete these simple steps, you’re ready to start promoting your Shopify store on Snapchat.

Select Website Conversions to drive more purchases on your Shopify store.
Budget at least $30 a day and don’t make any changes to your ad campaign for the first 4 days. This allows our delivery system to complete its learning phase, so it can find the best way to deliver your ads to help optimize performance.
Is your Snap Pixel generating events? If Yes, choose the Pixel Purchases goal. If No, choose the Landing Page Views goal. To check if your Pixel is generating events, use the Test Events tool in Events Manager. Your Event Quality Score will indicate your Pixel’s effectiveness at passing events.
Start with a broad audience for your first campaign. For later campaigns, you can create a Lookalike Audience to reach more Snapchatters who are similar to your best customers, or a Website Events Audience to retarget your ads to people who took an action on your store, like adding to cart.
Choose the 7/0 delivery optimization window, which helps show your ads to more Snapchatters who are likely to make a purchase after clicking your ad.
Snapchat Ads can help you promote your products and drive more traffic to your Shopify store. To get started, create a Business Account, install the Snapchat Ads App in Shopify, and link your Business Account to your store. During app setup, check the box to create or connect your Snap Pixel, which helps you track, measure, and optimize ad performance.
Once set up, you can start creating ads in the Shopify Marketing Tab or in Snapchat Ads Manager. Use Snapchat Ads Manager to get access to all the available ad objectives.
Log into your Shopify Account.
Install the Snapchat Ads app from the Shopify App Store.
Log in with your personal Snapchat account and connect your Snapchat Business Account.
Connect your Snapchat Business Account and connect your Snap Pixel by checking the Connect Snap Pixel box and then clicking Accept & Save Settings.
Once you have created a Business Account, installed the Snapchat Ads App, and connected it to your Shopify store, you can create an ad directly from the Marketing Tab in Shopify or via Snapchat Ads Manager. Ads Manager provides more features to help you improve ad performance, including access to all available ad objectives.
While not mandatory for running ads through Snapchat Ads Manager, the Snapchat Ads App is recommended as it makes it easier to connect your Snap Pixel and product catalog for more precise targeting, measurement, and optimization.
Snapchat Ads offer flexible budgeting options, including daily and lifetime budgets. Daily budgets specify the amount you're willing to spend per day, while lifetime budgets dictate overall campaign expenditure.
To ensure effective ad optimization, we recommend allocating a minimum of $30 per day to complete the Learning Phase, which helps your ad find the most responsive people in your audience and optimize its performance.
