Peppa Pig, the charming, cheeky little animated piggy, became the subject of a strange controversy about her height, and an even stranger meme about chocolate. Meanwhile, forever boy-band faves the Jonas Brothers were in the Snapchat spotlight for more straightforward reasons. In sports, it was a tale of coming and going, as Indianapolis Colts star Andrew Luck announced his shocking retirement from the NFL, and MMA legend Nate Diaz made a much-hyped return to the Octagon, beating former lightweight champ Anthony Pettis. In more somber news, the country continued mourning the losses of rapper and activist Nipsey Hussle and DJ and singer DJ Arafat.

Have you ever been curious about the person whose phone number is just like yours — except for one digit off? That’s what inspired the Number Neighbor experiment, a viral challenge where people texted the phone number that resembles their number with one key difference: The last digit is either one up or one down from theirs. The results ranged from hilarious to horrifying.
